An elegant neo-classical revival open armchair constructed of satinwood and strung with sycamore.

Of notable quality throughout akin to that of Waring & Gillow.

The square back is surmounted by a carved acanthus leaf pediment (quite like a moustache!) and is set with three finely pierced splats each adorned with anthemion.

The front legs are both fluted and tapering while the rear are of out-swept sabre form.

The upholstery is clean and usable. Minor wear to the show-wood commensurate with age.
