A rare early 20th century boxed Meccano steam engine.
 
Blue typically pierced angled base bearing a red and gold ‘Meccano Ltd. Liverpool’ sticker. The brass boiler embossed ‘MECCANO’ exhibiting remnants of a copper finish.
 
The original box is worn but intact, some small dents present to the boiler and age associated paint loss and wear throughout.
