A cast iron swing-back bench with both ends bearing the mark of J.P. Corry & Co. Belfast along with the mould number of thirty.
 
Such benches largely served in railway stations but ultimately found their way into mission halls, Orange lodges and schools throughout the province.
 
The original Scotch pine timbers remain in a single coat of old paint.
