A beautiful high back Windsor armchair with a fretted splat and crinoline stretcher.
 
All elements are of ash bar the generously saddled elm seat. The original, now naturally worn, stain remains with the whole surface exhibiting a fantastic lustre.
 
This chair delivers on all accounts – from its engaging stance to its practical size and, most importantly, comfort.
 
The splat is akin to those found on chairs hailing from the North East Midlands where a variety of designs were produced by Lincolnshire makers.
 
Solid and usable. One small historic repair to the splat.
